Manage Allowed Contacts - Blocking Mode - Samsung Galaxy Note® Edge

  1. From a Home screen, tap Apps Apps icon (located in the lower right).
    Note These instructions apply to Standard mode only.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. From the PERSONAL section, tap Blocking mode.
  4. Ensure the Blocking mode switch (located in the upper right) is turned on Blocking mode, On indicator.
  5. From the Allowed contacts section, tap Allowed contacts.
  6. Select one of the following:
    • None
    • All contacts
    • Favorites
    • Group
    • Custom
      Note When Custom is selected, create the list of allowed contacts:
      1. Tap Add
      2. Tap allowed contact(s) then tap Done (located in the upper right).
  7. Tap the Back icon Back icon (located in the lower right).
  8. If available, tap Allowed contact list.
  9. View or edit the list as desired.
    • To add a contact or number to the list:
      1. Tap Add (located at the top).
      2. Select allowed contact(s) then tap Done (located in the upper right).
        Note Selected when a check mark is present.
    • To remove a contact or number from the list:
      1. Touch and hold a contact to select.
        Note Selected when a check mark is present.
      2. Tap the Delete icon Delete icon (located in the upper right).
  10. Tap the Back icon Back icon (located in the lower right).
  11. If available, tap Allowed contact groups.
  12. View or edit the list as desired.
    • To add a contact or number to the group:
      1. Tap Add (located at the top).
      2. Select allowed contact(s) then tap Done (located in the upper right).
        Note Selected when a check mark is present.
    • To remove a contact or number from the group:
      1. Touch and hold a contact to select.
        Note Selected when a check mark is present.
      2. Tap the Delete icon Delete icon (located in the upper right).
