Manage Allowed Contacts - Blocking Mode - Samsung Galaxy Note® Edge

  1. From a Home screen, tap Apps Apps icon (lower-right).
    Note These instructions apply to Standard mode only.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. From the PERSONAL section, tap Blocking mode.
  4. Ensure the Blocking mode switch (upper-right) is turned on Blocking mode, On indicator.
  5. From the Allowed contacts section, tap Allowed contacts.
  6. Select one of the following:
    • None
    • All contacts
    • Favorites
    • Group
    • Custom
      Note When Custom is selected, create the list of allowed contacts:
      1. Tap Add
      2. Tap allowed contact(s) then tap Done (upper-right).
  7. Tap the Back icon Back icon (lower-right).
  8. If available, tap Allowed contact list.
  9. View or edit the list as desired.
    • To add a contact or number to the list:
      1. Tap Add (at the top).
      2. Select allowed contact(s) then tap Done (upper-right).
        Note Selected when a check mark is present.
    • To remove a contact or number from the list:
      1. Touch and hold a contact to select.
        Note Selected when a check mark is present.
      2. Tap the Delete icon Delete icon (upper-right).
  10. Tap the Back icon Back icon (lower-right).
  11. If available, tap Allowed contact groups.
  12. View or edit the list as desired.
    • To add a contact or number to the group:
      1. Tap Add (located at the top).
      2. Select allowed contact(s) then tap Done (upper-right).
        Note Selected when a check mark is present.
    • To remove a contact or number from the group:
      1. Touch and hold a contact to select.
        Note Selected when a check mark is present.
      2. Tap the Delete icon Delete icon (upper-right).
