Easy Mode
Simplified and easy experience for first time smartphone users.
Standard Mode
Standard experience for smartphone users already familiar with the Android operating system.

 

Change to Easy mode

Note Changing to Easy mode stops all currently running apps and alter the lock screen, home screen, menu screen and font size to a more simplified version. Some settings within Standard mode may not be available.

  1. From a Home screen, tap Apps Apps icon (located in the lower-right).
  2. From the Apps tab, tap Settings Settings icon.
  3. From the PERSONAL section, tap Easy mode.
  4. Tap Easy mode then, if desired, select from the following Easy Apps to display when Easy mode is active.
    linote Selected when a check mark is present.
    • Select all applications
    • Calendar
    • Camera
    • Clock
    • Email
    • Gallery
    • Internet
    • Messages
    • Music
    • My Files
    • Phone
    • Video
    • Voice Recorder
  5. Tap Done (located at the top).

Change to Standard mode

Note Changing to Standard mode alters the lock screen, home screen, menu screen and font size to a more advanced version.

  1. From a Home screen, swipe left then tap Easy Settings.
  2. Tap More Settings (located at the bottom).
  3. From the PERSONAL section, tap Easy Mode.
  4. Tap Standard mode then tap Done (located at the top).
