View Device Screen on TV - Samsung Galaxy Note® Edge

Note Notes: 

  • To share media files, an active Wi-Fi connection must be established. Refer to the following for assistance:
  • To play or copy media to / from other devices (e.g., computer, TV, etc.), they must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network and may need to be configured for sharing. Refer to the user manual or contact the equipment manufacturer for assistance.
  • To view your smartphone's screen via an external display, a compatible HDTV or a wireless display adapter (e.g., Chromecast™) is required. A wireless display adapter can be purchased from any Verizon Wireless retail store or at the online store.
  • For assistance with setting up a Google® Chromecast device, refer to this page.
  • Some apps (e.g., YouTube™, Netflix®, etc.) support displaying the app contents on a remote display. Within the app, tap the Cast icon Cast icon then select the desired display from the list.


  1. On the TV, follow the manufacturer's instructions to activate screen mirroring.
    Note If using a wireless adapter, follow the manufacturer's instructions to activate the device.
  2. From a Home screen (on your device), tap Apps Apps icon (located in the lower-right).
    Note These instructions apply to Standard mode only.
  3. Tap Settings Settings icon.
  4. From the WIRELESS AND NETWORKS section, tap More networks.
  5. From the MEDIA SHARE section, tap Screen mirroring.
  6. When connected, the device's screen is displayed on the TV.
