Delete an Existing Email Account (via Device) - BlackBerry® Internet Service (BIS)

Removing then re-adding your email account often resolves issues such as being unable to login or not receiving email.

 If the device is setup on a BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES), the option to add or remove email accounts may be unavailable. Contact the BES Admin for assistance.

  1. From the Home screen All tray, select Setup Menu button .
    Note To expand the tray, press the Menu button Menu button then select Open Tray.
  2. Select Email Accounts.
  3. Highlight the preferred email account then press the Menu button.
  4. Select Delete.
  5. Select Yes to confirm.
