Delete an Existing Email Account - BlackBerry® Internet Service

Removing then re-adding your email account often resolves issues such as being unable to login or not receiving email.

note Notes:

  • To log in to the BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS) website, there must be an existing account. To create an account, refer to Configure email services for assistance.
  • If the device is setup on a BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES), the option to add or remove email accounts may be unavailable. Contact the BES Admin for assistance.
  1. Using a computer, launch a web browser then navigate to the BIS website.
  2. From the Existing Users section, enter the appropriate User name and Password then click Log In.
  3. From the desired Email Account, click Delete (trash can icon).
  4. Click OK.
  5. Click OK to confirm.
