Verizon Cloud - Android™ Smartphone - Share Media

Caution Verify the original file is stored somewhere before it's deleted from Verizon Cloud.

Note Ensure your Verizon Cloud app is up to date as the steps below apply to the most recent version.

  1. From the Home screen, tap the Apps icon.
    Note If not available, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
  2. Tap the Verizon Cloud icon Verizon Cloud icon.
  3. Tap the Navigation Menu icon (upper-left).

  4. Select the content type.
    • Photos & Videos
    • Music
    • Documents

  5. Navigate to a media file (e.g., picture, video, music, etc.) then tap the Contextual Menu icon (upper-right).

  6. Tap Select Content.

  7. Tap the media file to select then tap the Contextual Menu icon.
    Note Selected when shaded in red.
  8. Tap Share.

  9. From the 'Complete action using' screen, select the method to share your media (e.g., Messages, Bluetooth, Gmail, etc.).
    Note Depending upon the share option selected, the remaining steps to send or share may vary.

  10. Complete the sharing action from the selected app.

 

Note To stop sharing a file, the file must be deleted from Verizon Cloud. If the file is backed up to Verizon Cloud later, a new Share link needs to be created.

Caution Verify the original file is stored somewhere before it's deleted from Verizon Cloud.
