Samsung Galaxy Core Prime™ - Add a Virtual Private Network
A virtual private network (VPN) encrypts your internet traffic and protects your online identity via a secured remote server and is most commonly used when remotely accessing company systems (e.g., company email, intranet sites, etc.).
From a Home screen, navigate: Apps > Settings > More networks.
These instructions apply to Standard mode only.
Tap VPN then tap Basic VPN.
If presented with a lock screen notification, tap OK.
Refer to Unlock the Device (pattern, PIN or password only) for assistance.
Tap the Add icon + (upper-right).
From the 'Name' field, enter the appropriate name.
Contact the VPN admin for assistance with server information and credentials.
From the 'Type' field, tap the Dropdown menu (on the right) then select the VPN type:
IPSec Xauth PSK
IPSec Xauth RSA
IPSec Hybrid RSA
Enter the required information into the applicable fields then tap Save (lower-right).
