Connect Preferences - VZAccess® Manager v7 (Macintosh®)


  • VZAccess Manager software must be installed before inserting/connecting the device to the computer for the first time.
  • Depending upon device and/or software version, some options may not be available.


  1. From the desktop, navigate: Finder > Applications > VZAccess Manager.
  2. From Menu Bar, click: VZAccess Manager > Preferences.
  3. Ensure desired options are selected (check mark) then click Save.
    Note If no changes are made, click Close.
    • Connect options:
      • Do not allow connectivity when roaming:
        • Prevents a connection in locations where roaming charges may apply.
      • Auto-connect WWAN:
        • On startup:
          • A connection attempt occurs upon opening VZAccess Manager.
        • If connection terminates (auto-reconnect):
          • A connection attempt occurs if the current connection is terminated.
    • Usage information:
      • Display my usage information on connection:
        • Automatically displays data usage information upon connection.
