Set Up Corporate Email (Exchange ActiveSync) - BlackBerry®® Classic

Note Notes:
  • The steps below outline the process for setting up a corporate account via Microsoft® Exchange Activesync®. To setup an account associated with a BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES), refer to Enterprise Activation for assistance.
  • Contact your Exchange / IT Administrator for assistance with server information and credentials.

  1. From the Home screen, tap Settings Settings icon.
    Note If not available, swipe down from the top of the display (where the time is located).
  2. Tap Accounts Email icon.
    Note If not available, tap Add Account Add account > Email, Calendar and Contacts Enterprise accounts icon.
  3. Tap Advanced Advanced settings icon (located at the bottom).
  4. Tap Microsoft® Exchange Activesync® Enterprise accounts icon.
  5. Enter the appropriate information into the following fields:
    Note Available settings may vary depending upon account type.
    • Description
    • Domain
    • Username
    • Email Address
    • Password
    • Server Address
    • Port
    • Use SSL
      Note Enabled when the On/Off switch to On On indicator.
    • Use VPN
      Note Enabled when the On/Off switch to On On indicator.
    • Use Push
      Note Enabled when the On/Off switch to On On indicator.
    • Sync Interval
      • 15 Minutes
      • 30 Minutes
      • 1 Hour
      • 2 Hours
      • 4 Hours
      • 24 Hours
      • Manual
    • Sync Timeframe
      • 1 Day
      • 3 Days
      • 7 Days
      • 14 Days
      • 30 Days
  6. Tap Next (located in the upper-right).
  7. Tap the On/Off switch to enable On indicator or disable Off indicator:
    Note Available settings may vary depending upon account type.
    • Sync Email
    • Sync Contacts
    • Sync Calendar
    • Sync Tasks
    • Sync Memos
  8. Tap Done (located in the upper-right).
  9. If presented, enter a password into the "Password" and "Confirm password" fields then tap OK.
    Note The password is utilized to access and secure the device.
