Samsung Galaxy Note® 4 - Power Saver Settings

Note Notes:

  • To configure settings, power saving mode must be turned on.
  • Configuring the power saving mode helps conserve battery power.
  • Ultra power saving mode applies a simplified grayscale theme to the home screen and limits the number of usable apps.
  • The Recent apps Recent apps and Back button Back icon do not light up while in Ultra power saving mode.

  1. From a Home screen, navigate: Apps Apps icon > Settings.
    Note These instructions apply to Standard mode only.
  2. From the Device section, tap Power saving.
  3. Tap Ultra power saving mode.
  4. Ensure the Ultra power saving mode switch is turned on Switch On icon.
  5. To add items to the Home screen, tap the Add icon + then tap an app.
    Note App availability is limited while in Ultra power saving mode.
    Note A maximum of 6 apps may be added to the Home screen.
  6. To remove items from the Home screen:
    1. Tap the Menu icon Menu icon (located in the upper-right).
    2. Tap Remove.
    3. Tap the appropriate app then tap OK.
  7. To adjust settings, tap the Menu icon then tap Settings.
    Note While in Ultra power saving mode, adjustable settings are limited to:
    • Wi-Fi
    • Bluetooth
    • Airplane mode
    • Mobile networks
    • Location
    • Sound
    • Display
