Account Sync Settings - HTC One® M9

If you're not receiving email and app notifications, follow these steps to check your account sync settings.

Caution Frequent account synchronization can have a negative impact on battery life.

  1. From a Home screen, tap the Apps icon Apps icon > Settings.
    Note If unavailable, tap the Dropdown menu Applications dropdown menu icon ( located in the upper-left) then tap Alphabetical. If still unavailable, refer to Manage App Icons.
  2. From the PERSONAL section, tap Accounts & sync.
  3. Ensure the Auto sync switch (located in the upper-right) is turned on On switch icon.
  4. Tap the account type (e.g., Google, Mail, etc.).
  5. From the ACCOUNTS section, tap the appropriate email address.
    Note Multiple accounts may appear.
  6. Turn the Sync settings (e.g., App Data, Calendar, Contacts, etc.) on On switch icon or off Off switch icon as desired.
