Contact Your BlackBerry® Enterprise Server (BES) Administrator for Additional Assistance
If you're unable to perform certain functions (e.g., make phone calls or browse the web), it may be the result of a restriction on the BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES). It's recommended to contact your IT department for assistance.
To verify that the device is on a BES, follow the steps below.
From the Home screen, navigate: Options > Advanced Options.
For some BlackBerry models, select Settings > Options > Advanced Options.
If applicable, utilize the trackpad / track wheel to highlight then press it to select.
Select Service Book.
Select the Desktop [CMIME].
Locate the UID.
If the UID is a series of numbers and letters starting with the letter 'S' (not an email address) your BlackBerry has been added to a BES.
