Manually Add a Wi-Fi Network - HTC One® M9

Note Wi-Fi network information is required to complete several steps. Refer to the network administrator for assistance.

  1. From a Home screen, tap the Apps icon Apps icon (located at the bottom).
  2. Tap Settings.
    Note If unavailable, tap the Dropdown menu Applications dropdown menu icon (located in the upper-left) then select Alphabetical. If still unavailable, refer to Manage App Icons.
  3. From the WIRELESS & NETWORKS section, tap Wi-Fi.
  4. Ensure the Wi-Fi switch (located in the upper-right) is turned On switch icon .
  5. Tap the Menu icon Menu icon(located in the upper-right).
  6. Tap Add network.
  7. Enter the Network SSID.
  8. Tap the "Security" dropdown menu then select the appropriate option:
    • None
    • WEP
    • 802.1x EAP
  9. From the Password field, enter the appropriate password.
    Note To view the password as it is being entered, tap (check) Show password.
  10. Ensure additional settings (e.g., EAP method, Phase 2 authentication, CA certificate, etc.) are configured appropriately (if applicable) then tap SAVE.
