To play or copy media to / from other devices (e.g., computer, TV, etc.), they must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network and may need to be configured for sharing. Refer to the user manual or contact the equipment manufacturer for assistance.

Some apps (e.g., YouTube™, Netflix®, etc.) support displaying the app contents on a remote display. Within the app, tap the Cast icon then select the desired display from the list.
Before starting, make sure you have set up speakers, TV or appliance to connect to a Wi-Fi network.

The HTC One M9 automatically connects to Wi-Fi; however, a network can be added if needed.
Open and play music or media content you want to share from the HTC One M9.
Swipe up on the screen with 3 fingers to start a media sharing session.
To stop a media sharing session, swipe down on the screen with 3 fingers.
From the "Choose where to play media prompt", tap the device to connect to.
Once connected, use your phone to control volume, pause or resume playback, etc.
