Verizon Smart Family™ - Website - Remove Message Limits

Note Notes:

  • To perform the steps below, you need to:
    • use a desktop or laptop computer with an up to date web browser (e.g., Chrome™, Edge, Safari®, etc.).
    • sign in using a My Verizon user ID or mobile number that has Account Owner or Manager access privileges.
    • ensure the child device is powered off prior to adding or removing blocks, restrictions, limits, etc.
  • These steps don't apply to prepaid accounts.

 

  1. From a web browser, sign in to My Verizon.
    Line note If using a smartphone or tablet, refer to the Android® or Apple® iOS instructions.
  2. From the My Verizon home screen, navigate: Plan > My Plan & Services > Manage Verizon Smart Family.
  3. From the list of devices (at the top), select the mobile number the limit should be applied to.
  4. From the left menu, click Limits & Controls to expand.
  5. Click Limit text.
    Note This option is unavailable for lines on the justkids plan.
  6. Click No limit to check the box.
  7. Click Save.
