If using a Macintosh computer, additional software is required in order to transfer files.

Connect the device to a computer using the supplied USB cable.
If necessary, touch and hold the Status bar (area at the top of the phone screen with the time, signal strength, etc.) then drag to the bottom.

Tap the USB icon then tap Media sync mode.
From the computer, launch File Explorer, Windows Explorer, or Finder (Macintosh).
For File Explorer or Windows Explorer, press the Windows+E ( +E) keys using the computer keyboard.
For Finder, click the Finder icon located on the dock.
From File/Windows Explorer or Finder, click Removable Disk (X:).
Multiple Removable Disk drives will appear. One drive represents the device's Internal memory and the other drive represents the SD memory card. The drive letters may vary.
Utilize the computer to copy music files from the music folder on the removable disk to the desired location on the computer's hard drive.
