Manage Interruptions - LG G4™

Note Notes:

  • The Interruptions feature allows sound/vibration (for phone calls, messages, etc.) to be turned on or off as preferred.
  • Alarms are always considered priority interruptions.
  • When Sound profile is set to "No interruptions" (silent mode), all notifications, including alarms, are turned off.

  1. From a Home screen, navigate: Apps Apps icon > Settings Settings icon > Sounds and notification.
  2. Tap Do not disturb.
  3. Ensure Do not Disturb switch is set to on Switch on icon (located at the top).
  4. Tap sounds and vibrations then select one of the following:
    • Allow only priority interruptions
    • Total silence
  5. Tap Back Back icon.
  6. Tap Calls and notifications.
    Note Select if notifications can interrupt by choosing one of the following:
    • All interruptions
    • Priority only
    • No interruptions
  7. From the Advanced section, tap Select Priority.
    1. Tap App notifications
    2. Tap the desired app to enable.
      Note Enabled when a check mark Check mark is present.
    3. Tap Back Back icon.
    4. Tap Calls from then select the appropriate option e.g., No one, Everyone, etc.
    5. Tap Back Back icon.
    6. Tap Repeated calls to enable.
      Note Enabled when a check mark Check mark is present.
    7. Tap Messages from then select the appropriate option e.g., No one, Everyone, etc.
    8. Tap Back Back icon.
  8. Tap Back Back icon.
  9. Tap Schedule.
    1. Tap one of the appropriate option:
      • Weekend
      • Weeknight
    2. Tap Days then select the preferred days(s).
    3. Tap From then adjust the start time.
    4. Tap To then and adjust the end time.
    5. Tap sounds and vibrations then select one of the following:
      • Allow only priority interruptions
      • Total silence
    6. Tap Back Back icon.
    7. Tap Save.
