These instructions help when you have no Internet or network connection or can't send/receive email/text/pics/videos.
Enabling data roaming may incur roaming charges.
From the right edge of the screen, swipe left to display the charms menu.
If using a mouse, move the pointer to the upper or lower-right corner of the Start screen then move up/down.
Alternatively, press the Windows+C keys ( +C) located on the physical keyboard (if available).
Tap or click Settings.
Tap or click the Wireless network icon .
Ensure the "Mobile broadband" switch is set to On then select the available wireless network (e.g. Verizon Wireless LTE).
Depending upon personalization options, the switch color may differ from the example depicted above.
Ensure that "Connect automatically" is selected then select Roam automatically.
The setting is selected (turned on) when a check mark is present.
If the settings are not available, tap Disconnect then select the available wireless network again.
