Move Music Files to Device - HTC Desire 526

Note Notes:

 

  1. Connect the device to a computer using the supplied USB cable.
    1. If necessary, touch and hold the Status bar (area at the top of the phone screen with the time, signal strength, etc.) then drag to the bottom.
      Note The image below is merely an example.

    2. Tap the USB icon USB icon then tap Media sync (MTP).
  2. Launch File Explorer or Windows Explorer.
    Note Using the computer keyboard, press the Windows+E (windows key logo+E) keys.
    Note Alternatively, right-click Start then click Open File Explorer or Windows Explorer.
  3. Using File Explorer or Windows Explorer, navigate: HTCD100LVWPP > Internal Storage > Music.
    Note If an SD card is present, music files can be transferred to that location by navigating: HTCD100LVWPP > SD card.
  4. Use the computer to copy music and other audio files into the folder.
    Note For any accompanying artwork in JPEG format, rename the art file albumart.jpg and copy into the same folder as the music files.
  5. To further organize files, create a subfolder in the newly created music folder and copy desired music files into it.
