Delete and Recreate Manual Dial-Up Networking (DUN) Connections - Windows® 10


  • If your Windows operating system is unknown, refer to Determining Software Version - Windows.
  • If presented with "Browse the Internet", the dial-up connection has been created successfully.
  1. Close any open apps then ensure the wireless device is inserted/connected to the computer.
  2. Tap or click the Start menu icon Start Menu icon (located in the lower-left).
  3. Tap or click the App list menu icon App List Menu icon then click All apps All Apps icon.
  4. Tap or click Settings.
  5. Tap or click Network & Internet.
  6. From the Dial-up tab, tap or click Network and Sharing Center.
  7. Right-click the connection you wish to remove then click delete
  8. Under "Change your network settings", tap or click Set up a new connection or network.
  9. Ensure Connect to the Internet is selected then click Next.
  10. Click Dial-up.
  11. Enter the following connection settings then click Connect:
    Note To save the password, ensure Remember this password is selected (Check box icon).
    • Dial-up phone number: #777
    • User name: 10-digit mobile
    • Password: vzw
    • Connection name: vzw
