Reset App - Samsung Galaxy S6 edge +

If your device crashes, resets itself or freezes, it may be caused by apps and this info may help.

Note Personal data such as browser bookmarks and other customized settings can be backed up to and restored from Google servers.

  1. From a Home screen, tap Apps Apps icon > Settings Settings icon > Apps.
    Note These instructions apply to Standard mode only.
  2. Tap Application manager.
  3. Locate then select the appropriate app.
    Note If system apps aren't visible, tap the Menu icon Menu icon (located in the upper-right) > Show system apps.
  4. Tap FORCE STOP.
  5. To confirm, tap FORCE STOP .
  6. Tap Storage
  7. CLEAR DATA.
    Note Option may not be available for all apps.
    Note Resetting an app doesn't delete personal content (e.g., text messages, contacts, pictures, etc.).
  8. Tap DELETE.
