Restore Settings to Factory Defaults - Verizon Jetpack® 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot - AC791L

If your Jetpack powers off on its own, crashes and resets, freezes, won't charge or runs slow, view this info.
 

Caution Restore Settings to Factory Defaults only if absolutely necessary as it:

  • Removes all modified settings including Network Name (SSID), Wi-Fi/Admin Password, etc.
  • Restores the default settings viewable on the external LED of the device.

 

  1. Press the Power button (located on the top edge) to ensure the device is powered on.
  2. Select Settings.
    Note Utilize the Navigation buttons (left/right arrows) to scroll through the options and the Select button (check mark) to select.
  3. Select Factory Reset.
  4. Select Yes.
  5. If prompted, select Yes to confirm.
    Note After restoring to factory defaults, ensure Power Management Settings are set to the preferred options.

 

Note Alternatively, a restore can also be done as follows:

  1. Access the Admin Web Interface.
  2. From the left menu, click Jetpack Settings.
  3. From the Jetpack tab, click Backup & Restore.
  4. From the Restore to Factory Defaults section, click Restore Factory Defaults.
  5. From the pop-up, click Restore Factory Defaults to confirm.
    Note After restoring to factory defaults, ensure Power Management Settings are set to the preferred options.
