Wi-Fi Calling settings don't transfer after switching devices and/or performing a factory data reset. You need to enable W-Fi Calling manually if you want to use it.
If powered off, press and hold the Power button for approximately 3 seconds then release.
From the Welcome screen, select the appropriate language then tap NEXT.
Allow several seconds for activation to complete.
From the Phone Activation screen, tap Next or tap Activate Now (if available).
If prompted, enter the last 4 digits of the Account Owner's Social Security Number or the Billing Password.
If activating a new phone, ensure the old phone is powered off and allow several minutes for the deactivation of the old phone to complete.
If presented with the Verify your account screen, sign in with the Google account that was previously synced on the device, tap NEXT then tap ACCEPT.
If presented with the Got another device screen, follow the onscreen instructions to transfer data from a previous device or tap No thanks > NEXT.
From the Add your Account (Google) screen, tap SKIP > SKIP.
From the Name screen, enter the first and last name then tap NEXT.
From the Protect your phone screen, tap Protect this device to uncheck then tap SKIP > SKIP ANYWAY.
From the Google services screen, select any of the following to enable or disable then tap NEXT (may require scrolling to the bottom).
Enabled when a check mark is present.

From the Verizon Cloud screen, tap SKIP (lower-left) then tap NOT NOW.
From the Email Accounts screen, tap SKIP (lower-right).
From the Summary screen, tap DONE (lower-right).
Review the Privacy disclaimer then tap ACCEPT.
