Change the Browser Start / Home Page - Windows® 8

  1. From the Start screen, tap or click Internet Explorer.
    Note If not available, swipe up (starting from the middle of the screen) to display the Apps screen then tap or click Internet Explorer.
    Note If using a mouse, click the down arrow icon to view all apps (may require clicking on the slide bar at the bottom of the screen to move the screen over to the right).
  2. From the right edge of the screen, swipe left to display the charms menu.
    Note If using a mouse, move the pointer to the upper or lower-right corner of the Start screen then move up/down.
    Note Alternatively, press the Windows+C keys ( windows key logo+C) located on the physical keyboard (if available).

  3. Tap or click Settings.
  4. Tap or click Options.
  5. From the 'Home pages' section, tap or click Customize.
  6. Tap or click the current home page address URL.
  7. From the 'Page address' field, enter the desired home page address then tap or click the left arrow icon (located at the top).
    Note Additional pages can be added by tapping or clicking Add current site and entering the page address then tapping or clicking Add.
