Move Music Files to Device - LG Lancet™ for Android™

This helps you move or transfer music between your device and a computer/PC.

Caution Only DRM free or unprotected music can be transferred via this method.

Note Notes:

  1. Connect the device to a computer using the supplied USB cable.
    1. If necessary, touch and hold the Status bar (area at the top of the phone screen with the time, signal strength, etc.) then drag to the bottom.
      Note The image below is merely an example.

    2. Tap the USB icon USB icon then select Media sync (MTP).
      Note Selected when an indicator is present.
  2. Launch Windows Explorer or File Explorer.
    Note Using the computer keyboard, press Windows+E (Windows Logo icon+E) keys.
    Note Alternatively, right-click Start then click Open File Explorer or Open Windows Explorer.
  3. Using Windows Explorer, navigate: VS820 Portable Media Player icon > Windows Folder icon windows folder icon.
    Note If a microSD card is present, files can be transferred to that location by navigating: VS820 > SD card.
  4. Use the computer to copy music and other audio files into the folder.
    Note For any accompanying artwork in JPEG format, rename the art file albumart.jpg and copy it to the same folder as the music files.
  5. To further organize files, create a subfolder in the newly created music folder and copy desired music files into it.
  6. Disconnect the USB cable.
