View Device ID (ESN / IMEI / MEID) - Windows 8

  1. From the right edge of the screen, swipe left to display the charms menu.
    Note If using a mouse, move the pointer to the upper or lower-right corner of the Start screen then move up/down.
    Note Alternatively, press the Windows+C keys ( windows key logo+C) located on the physical keyboard (if available).

  2. Tap or click Settings.

  3. Tap or click Change PC settings (located in the lower-right).
  4. From the left-pane, tap or click Network.
    Note If not available, tap or click the Back icon Left arrow icon (located in the upper-left) as necessary until "PC settings" appears in the upper-left.
  5. Ensure that "Connections" is selected from the left-pane then tap or click Verizon Wireless from the "Mobile broadband" section.
  6. From the "Properties" section, view the IMEI (may require scrolling to the bottom).

Note The preferred method of viewing the IMEI is through Settings, but you can also view the IMEI by opening up the kickstand and viewing the label located on the back of the device or follow these steps to view it online.
