Account Sync Settings - Motorola XOOM™ 4G LTE

If you're not receiving email and app notifications, follow these steps to check your account sync settings.

Caution Frequent account synchronization can have a negative impact on battery life.

  1. From a Home screen, navigate: Apps Apps icon > Settings > Accounts & Sync.
  2. Tap the account type (e.g. Google, Corporate, Email, etc.).
  3. Tap the appropriate account.
  4. Configure the items to sync.
    Note Enabled when a check mark is present.
    Note The available settings varies depending upon the type of account.
  5. Tap the following to configure General sync data:
    Note Enabled when a check mark is present.
    • Background data - apps can sync, send, and receive data at any time.
    • Auto sync - apps sync data automatically.
