Verizon Messages - Place or Pull a Voice Call

Note Notes:

  • Ensure Wi-Fi is enabled on the endpoint (tablet).
  • No Minutes or data plan charges apply when a voice call is originated or received on Wi-Fi while in the US.
  • International long distance charges apply to calls made to an international number from the US.
  • While traveling internationally no charges apply to calls made back to the US; however, calling a local international number bills at the international rate per your calling plan.

Place a Call

  1. Ensure Message+ is installed on your tablet.
  2. From the Home screen, tap the Verizon Messages app (Mesage+) Message+ icon.
  3. Tap the Phone icon Phone icon (lower-left).
  4. From the DIAL PAD tab, enter 10 digits number then tap the Call icon Phone icon.
Note Seven digits dialing pattern isn't supported.
Note Up to 5 devices (endpoints) per MDN. Only one endpoint (smartphone or tablet) can pick up.
  5. To disconnect the call, tap the End icon Disconnect the call.

Pull a Call

Users can transfer the call from a smartphone to another Message+ activated device only when the call started on the primary MDN. At launch, only pulling from Smartphone to Tablet is supported.
