Factory Data Reset (Powered On) - Samsung Gear S 2 / Gear S® 2 Classic

A factory data reset may help with a blank or frozen screen, apps crashing or freezing, touchscreen problems, can't hear, device making noises, can't make or receive calls, and device won't sync.

Caution Performing a factory data reset removes all data from the device. Only perform a reset if absolutely necessary.

 

Note Notes:

 

  1. From the watch screen press the Home button to open the apps screen.

  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Gear info.
  4. Tap Reset Gear.
  5. Tap Factory reset
  6. Tap OK (check mark).
    Note If applicable, set up your device.
