Check from Your Phone via the Visual Voicemail App

  1. From a Home screen swipe up then from the apps list tap Voicemail Visual Voice Mail icon.
  2. From the Visual Voicemail inbox, tap a message.
    Note If voicemail doesn't automatically start, tap Play.
    Note If using Premium Visual Voicemail, view the text of the Voicemail (at the top).
  3. To enable or disable the speakerphone, tap the Speaker icon (lower-right).
    Note Enabled when a blue indicator is present.

Check from Your Phone (If No Data or Wi-Fi Connection is Available)

  1. From a Home screen, tap Phone Phone icon (lower-left).
    Note If not available, navigate: Apps icon Apps icon > Phone Phone icon.
  2. Tap the Keypad icon Keypad icon (at the bottom) then touch and hold the number 1.
    Note Alternatively, enter *86 (*VM) then tap the Phone icon Phone icon (at the bottom).
  3. If prompted, enter the voice mail password then press the # key.

Access from a Different Phone or when Outside the Verizon Wireless Coverage Area

  1. Call your 10-digit mobile number.
    Note If dialing from an international location, refer to Place an International Call for additional assistance.
  2. As soon as the Voice Mail greeting starts, press the # key then enter the Voice Mail password.
    Note If prompted, re-enter the mobile number.
