Verizon Cloud - Android® - Manage Photo Stories

Note Notes:

  • Ensure your Verizon Cloud app is up to date as the steps below apply to the most recent version.
  • Only pictures with the .jpg (.jpeg) file extension are used to create Smart Folders.
  • During the initial backup, a folder must have at least 5 pictures in .jpg (.jpeg) format and 90% of the pictures must be in the .jpg (.jpeg) format to generate a Smart Folder.
  • If more pictures are added to an existing folder that had less than 5 pictures in it during the initial backup a Smart Folder is still not created. Creation of a new folder is required.
  • New folders being backed up must have at least 5 pictures in the .jpg (.jpeg) format and 90% of the pictures must be in the .jpg (.jpeg) format.

 

  1. From the Home screen, tap the Apps icon.
  2. Tap the Verizon Cloud icon Verizon Cloud.
  3. Tap the Navigation Menu icon (located in the in the upper-left).

  4. Tap Photos & Videos.
    Tap Photos & Videos
  5. Tap Stories.
    Tap Stories
  6. Select a story.
    Select a Story
    Rename Story
    Share Story
  7. Tap the Play Story icon.
    Tap the Play Story Icon
  8. If prompted, tap Download RealTimes to download the required RealTimes player app.
  9. View the story.
    View the Story
  10. Select an option. Select an Option

Rename Story

  1. Tap the Contextual Menu icon (located in the upper-right).
    Tap the Contextual Menu
  2. Tap Rename Story.
    Tap Rename Story
  3. Enter a new name then tap OK.
    Tap OK

Share It

  1. Tap the Share icon (located at the top).
    Tap the Share Icon
  2. Select an option then follow the on screen prompts.
    Select story

Enter a name then tap Save.

Hide/Show Picture During Playback

  1. Tap the check mark to hide/show the picture during playback.
    Note When the check mark is present the picture will be displayed during playback.
    Tap the Check Mark
  2. Tap Done (located in upper-right).
    Tap Done

Duplicate Photo in the Story

  1. Tap the Edit icon on a picture.
    Note The Edit icon is a pencil image.
    Tap the Edit Icon
  2. Tap Duplicate photo.
    Tap Duplicate Photo
  3. Enable the photo to be shown during playback.
    Note When the check mark is present the picture will be displayed during playback.
    Tap the Check Mark
  4. Tap Done (located in upper-right).
    Tap Done
