LG Watch Urbane™ 2nd Edition LTE - Factory Data Reset (Powered Off)

A factory data reset may help with a blank or frozen screen, apps crashing or freezing, keypad/touchscreen problems, can't hear, device making noises, can't make or receive calls, and device won't sync.

Caution A factory data reset clears all data on your LG Watch Urbane and restores it to default settings.

Note Notes:

  • Force your LG Watch Urbane to shut down in situations where the screen hangs/freezes or won't restart normally without erasing saved settings or personal data using, Restart/Soft Reset - LG Watch Urbane.
  • An alternate reset method is available if the device can be powered on and is responsive.

  1. With the device powered off, press the Power button to turn on (about 3 seconds).
  2. When the LG logo displays, swipe from the upper left corner across the screen to the lower-right corner until you see the Fastboot Menu.
  3. Tap the Arrow icon (at the bottom of the screen) to RECOVERY MODE then tap the Circle icon to select.
  4. From the screen with the image of an Android robot with a red exclamation mark, tap the screen to open the recovery options.
  5. Swipe down on the screen to the wipe data/factory reset option then swipe left to select it.
    Note The Power button can also be used to select the option.
  6. Swipe down until Yes - delete all user data is highlighted then swipe left or press the power button to select it.
  7. From the reset recovery options screen, ensure Reboot system now is selected then swipe left or press the power button to select it.
