Samsung Galaxy Tab E (8.0) - Remove a Personal Email Account

Removing then re-adding your email often fixes login and not receiving email issues.

Note Here's how to check what software version your device is running.

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
    Note These instructions only apply to the default Home screen layout.
  2. Navigate: Settings Settings icon > Accounts > Accounts.
    Note For software version 7.1.1 or earlier, navigate: Settings >Accounts.
  3. Select the appropriate account type (e.g., Email, Personal (IMAP), etc.).
  4. If necessary, tap the appropriate email address.
    Note Multiple accounts may appear.
  5. Tap REMOVE ACCOUNT.
  6. To confirm, review the notification then tap REMOVE ACCOUNT.
