Network Mode Settings - Samsung Galaxy Tab E (8.0)
This device only works on 4G/LTE networks.
From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
These instructions only apply to the default Home screen layout.
Navigate: Settings > Mobile networks.
Tap Network mode.
Select the appropriate setting:
This is the preferred setting for most locations and should only be changed if experiencing service issues.
This setting should only be selected if experiencing service issues in locations that offer multiple network types and only LTE is needed.
This setting should only be selected if experiencing service issues in locations that offer multiple network types and only UMTS is needed. The preferred international carrier is automatically selected.
You can manually select an alternate carrier but it may require as many as 6 registration attempts with that carrier prior to successful registration.
