PRIV™ by BlackBerry® - Clear App Cache

If your device runs slow, crashes or resets, or apps freeze when running them, clearing the cached data may help.

Clear Individual App Cache

  1. From a Home screen, navigate: Apps Apps icon > Settings Settings icon > Apps Apps icon.
  2. Tap the appropriate app.
  3. Tap Clear cache.
    Note This option may not be available for some apps.

Clear All Cached Data

  1. From a Home screen, navigate: Apps Apps icon > Settings Settings icon > Storage Storage icon.
  2. Tap Cached data.
  3. From the Clear cached data? prompt, tap OK.
