To play or copy media to / from other devices (e.g., computer, TV, etc.), they must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network and may need to be configured for sharing. Refer to the user manual or contact the equipment manufacturer for assistance.

A Miracast-enabled HDTV or a Wireless Display adapter may be required to view your smartphone's screen via an external display. A Wireless Display adapter can be purchased from any Verizon Wireless retail store or at the online store.

Some apps (e.g., YouTube, Netflix, etc.) support displaying the app contents on a remote display. Within the app, tap the Cast icon
then select the desired display from the list.
Here are a few ways to share your screen with a TV. A compatible TV or additional accessories may be required. Check with your TV manufacturer for additional support.

From a Home screen, navigate: Settings
> Share & connect.
These instructions apply to Standard mode only.

Tap Screen sharing.

Tap the Screen sharing switch to to turn on
or off
.
Once turned on, your device locates compatible displays.

Tap the appropriate TV or Miracast dongle.
If the appropriate device is not showing, tap SEARCH (at the bottom).

Tap Media server.

Tap Use DLNA feature.

If presented:

Tap Library then tap the preferred library.

Tap Player then tap the preferred player.

Navigate to the appropriate folder.

Tap the Menu icon (upper-right).

Tap Play.
-
Select (check) the preferred file(s) then tap Play.

Media Server Settings (DLNA)
Configure these settings to share files with a DLNA-enabled device (e.g., TV, game console, etc.). To determine whether your device supports the DLNA standard, see this product database.

From a Home screen, navigate: Settings
> Share & connect.

Tap Media server.

Tap Content sharing to turn on
or off
.

Review the Content sharing notice then tap ALLOW.

Tap Content to share.

Select any of the following then tap OK.

If presented with Receive content, tap to enable or disable.
Enabled when a check mark is present.
