Reset App - Samsung Galaxy J3 V / J3 (2016)

If your device crashes, resets itself or freezes, it may be caused by apps and this info may help.

Note Personal data such as Browser bookmarks and other customized app settings can be backed up to and restored from Google servers.

  1. From a Home screen, navigate: Apps Apps icon > Settings Settings icon > Applications/Apps.
    Note These instructions apply to Standard mode only.
  2. Tap Applications/Apps manager.
  3. Locate then select the appropriate app.
    Note If system apps aren't visible, tap MORE (located in the upper-right) > Show system apps.
  4. Tap FORCE STOP.
  5. Tap FORCE STOP to confirm.
  6. Tap Storage.
  7. Tap CLEAR DATA.
    Note Option may not be available for all apps.
    Note Resetting an app or clearing data storage may delete saved info within the app (e.g., calendar events may be lost).
  8. Tap DELETE to confirm.
