Apps and processes are listed from highest to lowest percentage of power consumption. Review any high or unusual battery drain.
From a Home screen, navigate: Apps icon > Settings > Power (Device section).
Review the current battery status. Percentage indicates the remaining battery life, charging status. Charging status is only displayed if device is connected to a charger.

Tap Battery usage. Displays percentage of battery usage for individual apps and system processes. Some apps have an option under ADJUST POWER USE that describes how to reduce the power consumption of the app. If available, tap this option to adjust the settings as needed.
Tap History. The Battery history graph displays the time since it was last charged to 100%.
View the history of battery usage.
Battery Usage line graph.
Color coded Mobile network signal bar graph. Signal strength has an effect on battery life.

Color coded bar graphs for Wi-Fi, Awake, Screen on and Charging.
Blue

Wi-Fi: Wi-Fi radio is on/off.
Awake: Running tasks/apps, however the screen is not necessarily on.
Screen On: Indicates the screen is visible, not in standby.
Charging: Indicates when a device is plugged into a charger and charging.
The charging line shows periods of partial charging (in green) since the last complete charge.
