Samsung Convoy® 4 - Enable / Disable / Modify SIM PIN

Note Enabling the Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) Personal Identification Number (PIN) locks the SIM card so that it cannot be used until the correct code is entered. If the incorrect PIN code is entered too many times, a PIN Unblocking Key (PUK) must be obtained from Verizon Wireless. Ensure a SIM card is properly inserted. Refer to Removing the SIM Card for additional assistance.

  1. From the main screen, select MENU.
    Note Utilize the 5-way navigation pad to highlight and the center button to select.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Select Phone Settings.
  4. Select SIM Security.
  5. Enter the SIM security code.
  6. Select an option.

  1. Select PIN Lock.
  2. Select an option then select SET.
    Unlocked
    Enter the SIM Unlock code then select OK.
    Locked
    Enter the SIM Unlock code then select OK.

Modifying the SIM PIN - Edit PIN Code

  1. Select Edit PIN Code.
  2. Enter the SIM unlock code then select OK.
  3. Enter the new PIN code then select OK.
  4. Re-enter the new PIN code then select OK.
