ASUS ZenPad™ Z8 - Set Up Corporate Email (Exchange ActiveSync®)

  1. From a Home screen, navigate: Apps icon Apps icon > Settings Settings icon > Accounts.
  2. Tap Add account.
  3. Tap Corporate.
  4. Enter your corporate email address and password then tap Next.
    Note If set up is unsuccessful, tap Manual setup.
  5. If presented with a Remote security administration prompt, tap OK.
  6. Configure the account options (e.g., Inbox checking frequency, etc.) as necessary then tap Next.
  7. If presented with an "Activate device administrator" screen, tap Activate.
  8. If presented, set up a secure screen lock, select an option then tap Done (located in the lower-right):
    • Show all notification content
    • Hide sensitive notification content
    • Don't show notifications at all
  9. If presented with an "Encrypt phone" prompt, review the info then tap Encrypt phone.
    Note Follow the on-screen steps to complete the applied security policy (e.g., Set up password, Device encryption).
    Note Device encryption can exceed 60 minutes.
  10. If desired, enter an account name then tap Next.
