ASUS ZenPad™ Z8 - Set Up Corporate Email (Exchange ActiveSync®)

For all advanced-level configuration and troubleshooting, contact your Exchange / IT admin for assistance.
From a Home screen, navigate: Apps icon > Settings > Accounts.
Tap Add account.
Enter your corporate email address and password then tap Next.
If set up is unsuccessful, tap Manual setup.
If presented with a Remote security administration prompt, tap OK.
Configure the account options (e.g., Inbox checking frequency, etc.) as necessary then tap Next.
If presented with an "Activate device administrator" screen, tap Activate.
If presented, set up a secure screen lock, select an option then tap Done (located in the lower-right):
Show all notification content
Hide sensitive notification content
Don't show notifications at all
If presented with an "Encrypt phone" prompt, review the info then tap Encrypt phone.
Follow the on-screen steps to complete the applied security policy (e.g., Set up password, Device encryption).
Device encryption can exceed 60 minutes.
