My Verizon app - Pay Bill / Manage Bill Settings

Note Notes:

  • Ensure your app is up to date as the following steps apply to the most recent version.
  • The My Verizon app is only available for Android® devices running 4.0 or higher and Apple® iOS devices running 10.0 or higher. For all other devices, visit verizonwireless.com to sign in and manage your account.
  • Available settings vary based on user type (e.g., Account Owner, Account Manager, Account Member).

Make a One-Time Payment

  1. From the Home screen tap the My Verizon app or navigate: Apps > My Verizon.
  2. Tap the Menu icon Menu icon (upper-left) then tap Bill.
  3. Tap the Pay Bill icon.
  4. Enter the payment amount.
  5. If preferred, utilize the Dropdown menu to change the payment date.
    Note Payment date defaults to today's date. To change payment date:
    1. Tap Today.
    2. Select a date from the calendar.
    3. Tap OK.
  6. Swipe screen side to side to select a payment method.
  7. Tap the Pay Bill icon.
  8. Tap OK.

Make a Promise to Pay

  1. From the Home screen tap the My Verizon app or navigate: Apps > My Verizon.
  2. Tap the Menu icon Menu icon (upper-left) then tap Bill.
  3. Tap Pay Bill.
  4. From the 'Payment Method' screen, swipe left.
  5. From the 'Promise to Pay' screen, tap Check Eligibility.
  6. Enter an amount in to 'Promise Amount' field.
  7. Tap the 'Promise Date' dropdown menu then select a date.
  8. Tap Promise.
  9. From the 'Promise now. Pay Later' screen, tap Promise.

Manage Payment Methods

  1. From the Home screen tap the My Verizon app or navigate: Apps > My Verizon.
  2. Tap the Menu icon Menu icon (upper-left) then tap Bill.
  3. Tap the Settings tab then tap Manage payment methods.
  4. Select one of the following actions:
    • Edit an Existing Payment Method:
      1. Swipe side to side to view the saved payment methods.
      2. To edit or remove a saved payment method, select one and tap the Edit button.
        • Edit
          Note Change the applicable info and tap Save (at the bottom).
        • Remove
          Note Tap the Remove button.
    • Add a Checking Account:
      1. Tap Checking account or Add checking.
      2. Enter the following:
        • Routing number
        • Account number
        • Payment method nickname
      3. If desired, tap Enable Autopay.
      4. Tap Save.
    • Add a Credit or Debit Card
      1. Tap Credit or debit card.
      2. Enter the following:
        • Card number
        • Expiration date
          Note Use the drop down menus to select the card’s expiration date.
        • CVC
        • Card ZIP Code
        • Payment method nickname
      3. If desired, tap Turn on Autopay.
      4. Tap Save.
    • Add an ATM Card
      1. Tap ATM card.
      2. Enter the following:
        • Card number
        • Expiration date
          Note Use the drop down menus to select the card’s expiration date.
        • Card ZIP Code
        • Payment method nickname
      3. If desired, tap Turn on Autopay.
      4. Tap Save.

Manage Autopay

  1. From the Home screen tap the My Verizon app or navigate: Apps > My Verizon.
  2. Tap the Menu icon Menu icon (upper-left) then tap Bill.
  3. Tap the Settings tab then tap Manage Autopay.
  4. Use the Autopay toggle switch to turn on or off.
    Note Alternatively, if Autopay hasn't been set up, tap the Setup Autopay button from the Current Bill tab.
    Note Turning on Autopay turns on paper-free billing.
  5. If desired, use the drop down menu to select a different payment date.
  6. Swipe through the saved payment methods and select one to use for Autopay.
  7. From the Terms and Conditions tap Agree.
  8. Tap Save.

Manage Paper-free Billing

  1. From the Home screen tap the My Verizon app or navigate: Apps > My Verizon.
  2. Tap the Menu icon Menu icon (upper-left) then tap Bill.
  3. Tap the Settings tab then tap Manage paper-free billing.
  4. Use the Paper-free billing toggle switch to turn on or off.
  5. Tap Save.
