My Verizon app - Manage Plan

Learn how to manage your plan for your My Verizon account.

Note Notes:

  • Ensure your app is up to date as the following steps apply to the most recent version.
  • The My Verizon app is only available for Android™ devices running 4.0 or higher and Apple® iOS devices running 10.0 or higher. For all other devices, visit to sign in and manage your account.
  • Changes may take up to 15 minutes to appear on your account.
  • Available settings vary based on user type (e.g., Account Owner, Account Manager, Account Member).


  1. From the Home screen tap the My Verizon app or navigate: Apps > My Verizon.
  2. Tap the Menu icon Menu icon (upper-left) then tap Account.
  3. Tap My Plan then tap Explore sizes.

  4. Swipe the sizes until the desired size is highlighted.
  5. Tap the Continue icon.
  6. If prompted, tap either 'Not now' or 'Enable' when prompted to add Safety Mode.
  7. Select an effective date:
    • Next bill
    • Immediately
  8. Tap Next (at the bottom).
  9. Tap Confirm this plan.
  10. Tap Confirm.
