One Talk - Place a Call

Note Notes:

  • If placing a call over Wi-Fi, keep in mind Wi-Fi calls always originate in the US, even when you're outside of the US.
  • Wi-Fi calls to US numbers are not billed (except for 411 or other premium calls).
  • Wi-Fi calls to international numbers are billed according to your international long distance plan

Select a dialer option for instructions on placing a call:

Call from Desk Phone
Call from Mobile / Enhanced Dialer
Call from iOS Basic Dialer
Call from Android Basic Dialer

Call from Desk Phone

  1. Enter the desired 10-digit number.
    Caution Do not prefix the dialed number with a 9? as is currently required with a traditional PBX (Private Branch Exchange) system. If a 9? is accidentally added, the call fails and the caller receives an error recording.
  2. Press the Send button.

Call from Mobile/Enhanced Dialer

  1. Launch the One Talk app / Enhanced Dialer.
  2. Tap the Keypad icon Dialer icon.
  3. From the Keypad tab, enter the desired 10-digit number.

  4. Tap the Phone icon Phone icon.
  5. To disconnect the call, tap the End icon Disconnect the call.

Call from iOS Basic Dialer

  1. Tap Keypad.
  2. Enter the appropriate number.
  3. Tap Call.

Call from Android Basic Dialer

  1. Tap Phone icon Phone icon.
  2. Enter the desired 10-digit number.
  3. Tap Call.
