Windows® 10 - Set Date and Time

Note If your device isn't running Windows 10, refer to the Windows 8 instructions.

  1. From the Home screen, navigate: Settings Settings icon (located in the lower-left) > Time & language.
    Note If the Windows Settings options are not visible, tap or click the Settings Home icon Settings Home icon (located in the upper-left) to go to the Settings home page.
    Note Utilize the touchscreen (if available) or mouse to select on-screen options.
  2. From the Date and time section, tap the "Set time automatically" On/Off switch.
    • On Switch On icon (enabled; date+time settings are set via the Verizon Wireless network)
    • Off Switch Off icon (disabled; date+time settings are set manually)
  3. If configuring date+time settings manually, tap change then input the date and time as appropriate.
  4. To change the appearance of the date and time, tap "Change date and time formats" (located under Formats at the bottom of the Date and time section) and select the desired view from the available dropdown menus.
  5. If configuring the Time zone, tap the Time zone dropdown menu and select the appropriate time zone.
  6. Tap the On Switch On icon or Off Switch Off icon switch to have the device adjust for daylight saving time automatically.
