To change the data usage cycle on your device, view data usage and set data warnings and limits, view this info.

Caution Data usage info provided by the device may differ from actual usage. For data usage info provided by Verizon Wireless, refer to the My Verizon website.

Set Mobile Data Limit

Caution Mobile data (cellular data) is disabled upon reaching the specified data usage level indicated by the orange limit line. To continue to utilize apps dependent upon a data connection (e.g., Browser, Email, Market, etc.), a Wi-Fi connection can be used or Mobile data must be manually re-enabled (overage charges may apply).

  1. From a Home screen, navigate: Apps icon Tap the Apps Icon > Settings Tap Settings.
  2. From the Wireless & Networks section, tap Data usage.
  3. Tap Billing cycle.
  4. Tap Set data limit to turn on Switch on.
  5. If presented with a "Data usage limit" screen, review the message then tap OK.
  6. Enter the data usage limit level then tap Set.

Set Mobile Data Warning

Note A notification message appears upon reaching the specified data usage level indicated by the black warning line.

  1. From a Home screen, navigate: Apps icon Tap the Apps Icon > Settings Tap Settings.
  2. From the Wireless & Networks section, tap Data usage.
  3. Tap the usage meter.
  4. Enter the data usage warning level then tap Set.

Change Data Usage Cycle

  1. From a Home screen, navigate: Apps icon Tap the Apps Icon > Settings Tap Settings.
  2. From the Wireless & Networks section, tap Data usage.
  3. Tap Billing cycle.
  4. Tap Billing cycle.
  5. Select a billing cycle date the tap Set.
    Note Refer to the My Verizon website for billing cycle date.
