Note Notes:

  • The Interruptions feature allows sound/vibration (for phone calls, messages, etc.) to be turned on or off as preferred.
  • Alarms are always considered priority interruptions.

Change Do Not Disturb Setting

Manage Priority Interruptions

  1. From a Home screen, navigate: Apps icon Apps icon > Settings Settings icon > Sound & notifications.
  2. Tap Do not disturb.
    Note To change the Do not disturb setting, follow these steps.
  3. Tap Priority only allows.
  4. Tap any of the following switch(es) to turn on On indicator or off Off indicator:
    • Reminders
    • Events
  5. Tap Messages then select an option:
    • From anyone
    • From contacts only
    • From starred contacts only
    • None
  6. Tap the Arrow icon Arrow icon (located in the upper-left) then tap Automatic rules.
  7. Tap a rule name then configure the following as preferred:
    Note If applicable, tap Add rule to add a rule.
    • Rule name
    • Days
    • Start time
    • End time
    • Do not disturb

Change Do Not Disturb Setting

  1. Swipe down twice from the top of a Home screen.
  2. To change to Do not disturb, tap the current setting (Total silence, Alarms only, Priority only) once. Otherwise, tap twice, then:
    Note The image below may vary depending upon device.
    1. Tap the preferred setting (Total silence, Alarms only, Priority only).
    2. Select one of the following:
      • Until you turn this off
      • For one hour
        Note Increase or decrease this time frame using the Add icon or Subtract icon icons (located to the right).
    3. Tap Done (located in the lower-right).
