Media Share - Samsung Galaxy Tab S2

Note Notes:

  • To share media files, an active Wi-Fi connection must be established.
  • To play or copy media to or from other devices (e.g., computer, TV, etc.), they must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network and may need to be configured for sharing. Refer to the equipment manufacturer for assistance.

  1. From a Home screen, navigate: Apps icon Apps icon > Settings.
  2. From the Wireless and networks section, tap More.
  3. From the Media share section, tap Nearby devices.
  4. Tap the Nearby devices switch to turn on On indicator or off Off indicator.
    Note The Nearby devices switch must be turned on to share.
  5. From the Advanced section, tap Content to share, enable/disable the following content to share then tap OK:
    Note Enabled when a check mark is present.
    • Videos
    • Pictures
    • Music
  6. Tap Allowed devices.
    Note If devices are within range, they can be added to the allowed devices list.
  7. Tap Blocked devices.
    Note If devices are within range, they can be added to the blocked devices list.
  8. Tap Download to then select one of the following:
    • Device
    • SD card
  9. Tap Receive files from other devices then select one of the following:
    • Always accept
    • Always ask
    • Always reject
  10. If presented with Nearby devices file sharing warning screen, tap OK.
