Set Up Corporate Email (Exchange ActiveSync®) - GizmoTab™

  1. From a Home screen, navigate: Apps Apps icon > Settings Settings icon > Accounts (Personal section).
  2. Tap Add account.
  3. Tap Exchange.
  4. Enter your corporate email address then tap NEXT (located in the lower-right).
  5. Enter your password then tap NEXT.
    Note If set up is unsuccessful, it can be set up manually (begin with step 4).
  6. If presented with a Remote security administration prompt, tap OK to confirm.
  7. Configure the account options (e.g., Sync frequency, etc.) as necessary then tap NEXT.
  8. If presented with an Activate device administrator screen, tap ACTIVATE.
    Note Follow the on-screen steps to complete the applied security policy (e.g., Set up password, Device encryption).
    Note Device encryption can exceed 60 minutes. If prompted, connect your tablet to a charging device to begin (battery charge must be at 80% or greater).
  9. If presented, select an option then tap DONE (located in the lower-right).
    • Show all notification content
    • Hide sensitive notification content
    • Don't show notifications at all
  10. If desired, enter an account name then tap NEXT.
