Verizon Jetpack® MiFi® 7730L - Edit Access Point Name (APN)

To define and configure the APNs your Jetpack can use, view this info.

Caution Changing the APN may be harmful to the stability, performance and security of the Jetpack. Contact your local IT administrator before altering any of these settings.

LTE Access Point Name (APN) Definitions

Used for connections to IMS services. Required for TXT messaging.
Used for administrative functions.
Required for general Internet connections.
Required for PDA data service
Used for connections that must be routed through content filtering.
Used for connections to mobile private networks.
Note 'xx' would be replaced by the enterprise MPN identifier.
Used for static IP connections.
Note 'xx' would be replaced by the appropriate static IP pool identifier.

  1. Access the Admin Web Interface.
  2. From the left menu, click Jetpack Settings.
  3. Click the Advanced tab.
  4. Click Continue (located on the right).
  5. From the Advanced Settings section, edit the APN as required for one of the following fields:
    • Verizon 4G LTE APN
    • Non-Verizon APN
  6. Click Save Changes (lower-right).
    Note Changing the APN may cause loss of data connection.
