Kyocera DuraForce PRO with Sapphire Shield - Turn On / Off Camera Underwater Mode

Notes Notes:

  • When underwater mode is on, the touchscreen doesn't work.
  • Use the keys on the top and sides of the phone to take photos and videos.
  • Avoid putting the phone in saltwater.
  • Always rinse the phone off in fresh water immediately after using it underwater.
  • Don't use the phone in water more than 6.56 feet / 2 meters deep.
  • Don't submerge the phone for more than 30 minutes.
  • Don't drop the phone as that may allow water in to the phone.

Enable Underwater Mode

  1. From a Home screen, navigate: Apps Apps Icon > Camera Camera Icon.
  2. Tap Menu.

  3. Tap Mode.
    Tap Mode
  4. Tap Underwater.
    Tap Underwater


Disable Underwater Mode

  1. Press the Speaker button to select Menu (located on the top left side of the phone).
    Select Menu
  2. Use the Volume Down button (located on the left edge of the phone) to scroll down to highlight Exit Underwater.
    Select Exit Underwater
  3. Press the Camera button (located on the right side of the phone) to select Exit.
